Practical research

Matthäi has been working in cooperation with Rostock University to develop a new procedure for water protection. Use of the Watermaster in combination with a heavy-duty filtration and dewatering system now makes water management more effective and economical with greater awareness for the environment.

The method:

	The Watermaster sucks the material out of the water and shreds any solid sediment in the cutter head.
	The Flocmaster® adds polymers to make the subsequent dewatering process more effective.
	Pollutants are collected in the special dewatering hoses; the treated water is discharged directly back into the water.

The advantages:

	flexible: the Watermaster with its great manoeuvrability and small dimensions is ideal for refurbishment even in confined settings and inaccessible points along the banks and in densely vegetated shallow water
	fast and powerful: technical equipment with power reserves and flexible rating of the filtration capacitie
	gentle and effective: targeted operations with the Watermaster and unique filtration efficacy, setting new standards in water refurbishment.
	highly economical: compared to previous procedures, the new convincing system optimises all processes right through to simplified disposal of compact residues.
